Until May 3, 2020 at 11:59 PM, we will continue to follow the Shelby County Health Department Health Directive.
Effective May 4, 2020 at 12:00 AM, the City of Millington will begin following Governor Lee’s Orders pertaining to COVID-19 and business operations. Governor Lee’s Plan for Reopening Tennessee Responsibly offers all the details.
Under the Governor’s Order 30, places of worship, weddings and funerals are not restricted but are encouraged to continue online services and gatherings instead. That order does not allow modification by any local government related to this category.
The links below contain all Governor Lee’s Orders that have been issued thus far, as well as Tennessee Pledge documents advising protocol by industry. Please also see the attached memo regarding Personal Care Close Contact Business, such as nail and hair salons, beginning May 6, 2020.
