MPO conducting public meetings to discuss and receive comments on transportation projects for the urban area, the future roadway system, public transit needs, community design, freight strategies, air quality, congestion management, non-motorized alternatives, financing and safety. The study area for Direction 2040 is all of Shelby County, the Western portion of Fayette County in Tennessee, and the northern portion of Desoto County in Mississippi.
The MPO will hold 4 public meetings across the study area on 2 different evenings. The meetings will be held at the following locations and times on the scheduled dates:
