VETERANS PARKWAY TO BE CLOSED DURING AIR SHOW
(MILLINGTON, TENNESSEE – SEPTEMBER 22, 2015)– The Memphis Air Show featuring the United States Air Force Thunderbirds Demonstration Team returns to the Millington Regional Airport September 25 – 27, 2015. Due to the close proximity of Veteran’s Parkway to the air demonstration area, Veteran’s Parkway between Highway 51 and Navy Road will be closed to all traffic during airshow practice and performances. Spectator viewing on Veterans Parkway for airshow practice and performances is prohibited.
Veterans Parkway will be reopened after the completion of the airshow events for exiting.
Veteran’s Parkway between Raleigh-Millington and Navy Road will remain open throughout the air show. This year’s traffic plan has been revised to provide quicker access to spectator parking. Signage and law enforcement will be posted at several locations as you approach the Millington area.
