OCTOBER 11 - MILLINGTON'S GREEN AND CLEAN DAY
MILLINGTON, TN (SEPTEMBER 23, 2014) - Millington's City Beautiful Commission is sponsoring the Millington Green and Clean Day on Saturday, October 11 from 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM. This event includes E-Cycle and Recycle activities. To dispose of electronic equipment in an "earth-friendly" way, bring the items to the Millington Recycle Center located near Biloxi fields on Jack Huffman Blvd. during the event. Almost anything that plugs in will be accepted including: appliances, computers, fans, phones, lamps, TVs, power tools, DVD players, printers, vacuums, cables / cords, monitors and radios. Items that include refrigerants like air conditioners, refrigerators and freezers will not be accepted.
Additionally, the Millington Recycling Center will be open for recycling of plastic, glass, aluminum, cardboard and newspapers. This event is free to all Millington residents - city and reserve areas. Let's keep Millington beautiful - RECYCLE AND REPURPOSE!
