OPENING FOR INTERIM MILLINGTON MUNICIPAL SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER

MILLINGTON, TENNESSEE (JULY 2, 2014) – There is currently an vacancy on The Millington Municipal School Board. In accordance with TCA 49-2-201, the Millington Board of Mayor and Aldermen will select an individual to fill the vacancy who will serve in an interim capacity until the next election. Members of the board are to be residents of the Coutny (City), where they reside and are voters. No member of the Board can be a member of the County or City legislative body. The vacancy must be filled at the next regular meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen that will take place at Millington City Hall at 6:00 PM on July 14, 2014.

Anyone interested in being considered must electronically submit a letter of intent and resume to Chris Dorsey, Millington City Manager at cdorsey@cityofmillington.org no later than 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 9, 2014.
