Beginning the week of February 18, 2021 (weather permitting), Memphis Road Boring will begin the West Royster Creek Sewer Outfall project. This project consists of installing a new 21-inch sewer line utilizing trenchless technology (meaning most of the work will not be visible to you). The project will begin at Bennett Wood and Hickory Meadow. From there it will progress northeast on Hickory Meadow to the park access point to the north as well as southeast on Bennett Wood and northeast on Tumbling Creek. This work will occur in the area during the months of February thru July.
Residents will have full access to their property and should not expect disruptions to their utilities. This work utilizes trenchless technology. However, it will be necessary to construct access pits at manhole locations. Every effort will be made to maintain traffic flow in these areas. The City of Millington and Memphis Road Boring apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will continue to update you throughout the project of any changes to the schedule listed above.
