Jack Huffman, City of Millington Public Works Director, was recently honored at the annual conference of the Tennessee Chapter of the American Public Works Association. The award was given in recognition of extraordinary and faithful service to the Citizens of Millington, Tennessee as the Public Works Director since January 1, 1963. "I was shocked to be recognized by my peers from across the state. This is one of the best honors I've received working for the City of Millington," said Huffman. When asked, what has motivated him to serve citizens of Millington for the past 49 years, Huffman responded, "I love being able to help people and making Millington a better place to live and raise a family."
