PRESS RELEASE
Millington resident Austin Fitzhugh was arrested by Millington Police on charges of rape of a child and aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor on July 26th, 2019.
On July 25th, 2019 Investigators with the Millington Police Department met with Homeland Security Investigations Agents in regards to complaint of child exploitation at an address on West Union Rd in Millington Tennessee. Investigators obtained a search warrant for the residence and executed it on July 26th, 2019. During the execution of the search warrant investigators observed areas of the residence that appeared to be where nude photos were taken of an 8-year-old male. Fitzhugh admitted to taking the photos and performing sex acts with the 8-year-old child.
Fitzhugh was released Saturday, July 26th on a $100,000.00 bond pending a court appearance
