 USA STADIUM HOSTS THE FLAG CITY FREEDOM CELEBRATION, JULY 3, 2017

MILLINGTON, TN (JUNE 19, 2017) - The annual Flag City Freedom Celebration, presented by the City of Millington in partnership with Naval Support Activity Mid-South MWR, will take place at USA Stadium this year and the plans are to celebrate our country's birthday with a BANG! Pack up the family and bring your picnic baskets, blankets, coolers, lawn chairs, and bug spray and enjoy the free children’s play area, live music, food and beverage concessions and the most spectacular fireworks show at sundown.    The gates open at 4:00 PM, so come early for the best viewing spots for a jaw-dropping fireworks spectacular at sundown.

The Flag City Freedom Celebration is presented by the City of Millington in partnership with Naval Support Activity Mid-South MWR, is sponsored by KIX 106 and 98.1 THE MAX, Homer Skelton Ford, Homer Skelton Chrysler Dodge Ram, Belhaven University, HNA Engineering, Republic Services, McAlister’s Millington, Millington Area Chamber of Commerce, Ritter Communications, Barge Waggoner Cannon and Sumner, Patriot Bank, Smith Investments, Boatwright Pharmacy, Millington Senior Citizen Club and more. 

Gates will open at 4:00 PM at USA Stadium on Monday, July 3, 2017.  This event is free and open to the public.  There is limited parking on site.  There will be a $5 fee per vehicle to park on site.  For the safety and enjoyment of all, absolutely no guns, lasers, pets, personal fireworks, grills, camp fires or political campaigning will be allowed.  For more information about the finest fireworks display in the Mid-South – THE FLAG CITY FREEDOM CELEBRATION, call (901) 873-5770.
