NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER OBSERVANCE AT HARVELL CIVIC CENTER MAY 5, 2016
MILLINGTON, TN (April 29, 2016) – The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to turn to God in prayer and meditation for our nation and leaders. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. The City of Millington is hosting a National Day of Prayer observance on May 5, 2016 at the Harvell Civic Center located at 8077 Wilkinsville Road in Millington. The ceremony will take place from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a short patriotic musical program by the Millington Central High School Choir to begin at 6:30 PM. Please make plans to attend.
