MILLINGTON, TENNESSEE (January 24, 2014) - On January 11, 2014 at 7:03 pm Officers of the Millington Police Department were dispatched to 8039 Hwy 51 (Kroger) on a Robbery of an individual. Upon arrival it was determined that the suspect had robbed the victim of her cell phone and hand bag by using force, striking the victim with a small baseball bat in the lower arm area and left the Kroger lot in a black Honda Accord type vehicle.
Through investigation it was found that the black Honda belonged to Shellie Miles. Further investigation located the black Honda vehicle in Memphis, TN. Located in the vehicle were several items from other jurisdictions' burglaries. It was determined through investigation that Shellie Miles was the suspect who robbed the victim on the Kroger lot on January 11, 2014.
On January 17, 2014 Shellie Miles was arrested on a Millington P.D. Warrant for Robbery.
Shellie Miles is now being held in the Millington City Jail for Robbery with a $100,000.00 Bond.
Miles is possibly linked to other burglaries and thefts in Shelby and Tipton County.
