Education
- Identify fire causing agents/events (i.e. improper storage of chemical(s))
- Instruct proper fire extinguisher usage
- Stress the importance of home evacuation plans
Engineering
- Fire detection equipment (i.e. smoke alarms)
- Suppression equipment (automatic fire sprinklers)
